Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Waypoint at 100% against Digital Crew's 0%. Waypoint also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Digital Crew's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
