Participation is fulfilling, informative and can earn you gift cards. The HoodHoot app will notify you when someone asks a question. Join the conversation if you know the answer or are interested in the topic. You’ll earn a star for every question you answer and you will get an additional star if the person who asked the question thinks your answer is the best. If a best answer is not selected, our algorithm will choose the best answer after 24 hours. Your friends, neighbors and fellow users can show they care by “Giving A Hoot” about questions and answers. They can share your question via text, email and Facebook to help get you the best possible answer. The HoodHoot community has a wide variety of topics to discuss, such as food, sports, TV, finance and many more. Once you earn enough Stars, you can redeem them for a gift card, which can be added to your Apple Wallet and can be used at local hot spots in your community or online.
