Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite at 4.7 against Video Stopwatch SC's 4.5. Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 356). Video Stopwatch SC's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite has 1.8K ratings behind it against 356, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Physics Toolbox Sensor Suite's written reviews are positive against 83% of Video Stopwatch SC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
