BinBud is an app designed to help users quickly and accurately identify different types of waste using a local VGG16 Keras model. The app classifies 14 distinct categories of trash based on a photo and provides a confidence score alongside the predicted type of waste. This allows users to make informed decisions about whether to recycle, compost, or dispose of items in the trash. We actively seek feedback to enhance the app, and we welcome all users to join our Discord community for suggestions, criticism, or general discussion about future updates.
