Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Overture Audio Player at 5.0 against DOTEC's 4.2. Overture Audio Player also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). DOTEC's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
