ArcAir is the app for Hamilton Arc sensors. It enables online monitoring and visualization of pH, dissolved oxygen, CO2, cell density, conductivity, and ORP sensors during biotechnological processes. With the ArcAir application, you can communicate wirelessly with up to 100 Arc sensors at the same time parallel to the process control system interface when an Arc Wi Bluetooth adapter is connected between the VP head of an Arc sensor and the VP sensor cable or the sensor has inbuilt Bluetooth functionality. Within the ArcAir application, Hamilton provides reporting and central data management of users, as well as validation reports for sensor calibration (excluding VCD sensors), verification, configuration, and communication. ArcAir embeds report’s electronic signatures, enabling paperless workflow. All of this complies with the GMP guidelines such as FDA CFR21 Part 11 or Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11.
Bower Labs

Bower is the operating system for scientific work. The Bower app records what happens at the bench while it happens, so the details that never make it into the notebook are captured at the source, not reconstructed later. RECORD THE WORK WHILE YOU DO IT • Dictate a voice note with your hands in the hood. Bower transcribes it and files it in your workspace. • Take photos and record video of the setup, the plate, the readout. • Jot a quick text note or upload a file from your phone. • Review each capture before it saves: retitle it, file it into a collection and tag the equipment involved. • No signal in the lab? Captures queue on your phone and upload on their own when you're back online. GO HANDS-FREE WITH BOWER GLASSES • Pair Bower Glasses over Bluetooth with a guided setup. • Press the glasses button for a photo, double-press to record video, hold to start a live session. • Say "take a photo", "start recording" or "Hey Bower". Voice commands run on your device. • No lab Wi-Fi? Hotspot mode keeps the glasses capturing anyway. RUN PROTOCOLS STEP BY STEP • Write protocols on your phone or open the ones your team has already built. • Execute a protocol live with Bower guiding you through each step, with a reference video chapter per step. • Every photo, clip and audio note taken during a run is filed against that protocol automatically, so the next person sees exactly how it was done. ASK BOWER • Start a live session by voice or from the app and talk with Bower while you work. • Through the glasses, Bower can see what you see, take snapshots and record on request. • Chat about your workspace and get answers grounded in your own records, with sources, attaching collections, notes, protocols and equipment as context. YOUR LAB'S KNOWLEDGE, IN YOUR POCKET • Browse notes, media, transcripts and equipment records, synced in real time with the Bower web app. • Edit notes and protocols in place. • Organise with collections, and bulk move or delete when things pile up. Bower sits alongside the tools your lab already uses. Research teams in biotech, translational institutes and academic medical centres use it to keep protocols consistent across people and sites, bring new researchers up to speed faster, and make experiments reproducible from the record, not from memory.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bower Labs at none against ArcAir's 2. Bower Labs also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). ArcAir's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
