Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Watch Weeks at 5.0 against Coming Next's 4.5. Watch Weeks also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). Coming Next's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Watch Weeks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Coming Next's written reviews are positive against 80% of Watch Weeks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Coming Next ships an update every 3 months, Watch Weeks every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
