Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: GameTrack at none against Games Tracker's shown. GameTrack also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 19) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Games Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. GameTrack sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Games Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
GameTrack holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GameTrack has 1.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of GameTrack's written reviews are positive against 64% of Games Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
