Track the latest storms and other natural events worldwide with Earth++. The latest weather, earthquakes, climate changes, and marine conditions are available. Information is courtesy of a variety of open sources, as indicated in the attribution label. There is an auto-renewing subscription option within the app to remove ads, track tropical cyclones, typhoons, hurricanes and other global weather hazards, and comprehensive ocean conditions forecasts for the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Development of global storms is funded in part by ads, which can be removed by selecting the monthly auto-renewing subscription option "Premium upgrade" from the app's settings menu. Upgrading to premium also provides access to other premium content and features. The subscription price of 0.99 USD (in your local currency) will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and, for each renewal, within 24 hours prior to the end of the current month. You can cancel the subscription at any time through your iTunes account settings, but you must do so at least 24 hours before the end of the current month to avoid being charged, and ads will show again at the start of the subsequent month. About

Rockets

Features

Rockets is a personal launch-day companion for spaceflight fans who want to know what is worth watching, what changed, and what to do next. Today highlights the next relevant mission and source freshness. Explore keeps the 3D globe, search, Mission Planner, and Launch Pulse. My Missions saves a complete local journey, while Launch Room combines the countdown, status, source details, change history, Calendar, Live Activity, and alert controls. Mission Control is the existing optional EUR 4.99 one-time purchase. It unlocks unlimited watched missions and advanced enthusiast tools forever. There is no subscription, trial, recurring billing, account, or Rockets-operated backend. Existing Mission Control buyers receive the Rockets 2 paid capabilities automatically after StoreKit restoration. Explore launch sites on a 3D globe, search pads and missions, compare recent and upcoming launches, and use Mission Planner to filter missions by provider, orbit, status, timing, and weather or hold concerns. Add selected launch windows to Calendar and start a Live Activity for upcoming missions. Rockets uses Launch Library 2 for launch schedules and launch pad data. If launch-site data is temporarily unavailable, the app may use OpenStreetMap Overpass as a fallback for public launch-site map data.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Rockets at none against Earth++'s shown. Rockets also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). Earth++'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
