Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WeCatch at 4.2 against FindPoke's 3.6. WeCatch also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 11). FindPoke's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeCatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FindPoke asks for nothing beyond the download.
WeCatch holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeCatch has 2K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of WeCatch's written reviews are positive against 75% of FindPoke's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WeCatch ships an update every 2 months, FindPoke every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
