Miss the character you used to get from older iPhone photos? Bring a second old phone on trips just for the camera? Tried an ‘old iPhone look’ app, only to be disappointed because it looked nothing like the real thing? iY2K was built differently. We bought a range of real older iPhone models and directly compared thousands of shots. This is not a filter made by guessing at the mood. We studied the noise, bloom, color and sharpness that gave each camera its character, then carefully rebuilt those details. We kept the character and eased off the drawbacks. Harsh bloom and excessive noise are toned down, while the parts people love about older cameras stay. You can also bring in photos you have already taken and apply the old-phone look later. There is no need to buy and carry another phone just for its camera. iY2K puts 138 looks — old phones, compact digitals, film and single-use cameras — in one app. What’s inside · 138 looks — old phones, compact digitals, film and single-use cameras · Fifty-eight composition guides — People, Landscape, Café and Top-Down. Line up with the outline on screen, get live directions on where to move the phone, and lay an example photo over the viewfinder · Light Bleed for selfies — the soft, blown-out glow old iPhone selfies had, in three strengths, on only when you want it · Share a photo from the Photos app to iY2K to edit it right away · Photos, video and Live Photos · Ten single-use cameras — seven cardboard bodies, four in colour (two of them waterproof) and three in black-and-white, plus three instant-film looks (a box body, a folding SLR and a current model) · See the look live in the viewfinder before you shoot · Apply it to photos and videos already in your library, several photos at once · Sensitivity and strength controls for every look · 0.5×, 1× and 2× lenses, plus the front camera · A 3-second and a 10-second timer · Grid, five aspect ratios and optional frames · An album that gathers what you shot with iY2K, day by day There are no in-app purchases. All 138 looks, the ten single-use cameras included, come with the price of the app, and there is no subscription. Shoot the single-use cameras as much as you like — there is no frame limit. An instant frame is saved as a square photograph inside a white instant-print border. Shooting and editing are processed on your device, with no account or in-app ads. Only with your tracking permission, the Meta SDK sends device identifiers and app activation events to measure advertising performance. Declining does not affect any feature. Photos and capture locations are not sent to Meta.
