Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: OND at free with in-app purchases against Oud Soloist's subscription. OND also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). Oud Soloist's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. OND sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $22.99 per year and Oud Soloist sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $28.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Oud Soloist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OND has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
OND ships an update every 2 months, Oud Soloist every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
