Bubble Cube is the place to practice the skill bubble shooter. Every round is timed and scored on how you play: aim well, build big combos, and use the board’s powerup at the right moment. How you score • Pop long runs of one color. The bigger the combo, the bigger the score. • 2x bubbles multiply the whole combo, so save your shot for the run that holds them. • Every board has its own powerup (bombs, ice, rainbow bubbles) to test your tactics. • Clear a color from the board for a bonus. • See the bubbles coming up next and plan your shots ahead. Practice and compete • Short timed rounds, quick to play. • Daily challenges and leaderboards to measure your progress. • Practice as much as you like, free. Questions? This project is a roguelike economic arcade game centered on probability, compounding effects, and cycle‑based progression. The core loop combines spinning wheels, vertical reel‑style scrolling, and accumulating money through a mix of flat gains, percentage modifiers, and upgradeable perks. The player interacts with a sequence of 9 wheels per cycle. Each wheel is composed of wedges: some provide flat +$, some apply +% multipliers, others introduce negative percentages or penalties. Outcomes accumulate across the run, with each cycle escalating tension as multipliers stack, variance increases, and decisions become more consequential. After completing the 8 standard wheels of a cycle, the player reaches the “Boss Wheel.” The Boss Wheel introduces harsher negatives—similar to a flat −$ penalty—forcing the player to mitigate risk through prior upgrades. Survival and profit beyond the boss determine whether the run continues into the next cycle. Across cycles, players expand their build through: • Percentage‑boosting perks that increase earnings from percent wedges. • Luck upgrades that shift probability weights toward favorable wedges. • Wheel‑expansion perks that add new +1 wedges or alter existing wheels. • Synergy perks that compound when specific outcomes appear consecutively. Progress is designed to feel exponential yet volatile, requiring strategic choice between stability and high‑risk growth. Wheels regenerate each cycle but inherit modifications the player has unlocked. Over time, builds reflect cumulative strategic direction—leaning toward compounding %, flat‑gain stacking, or luck skewing. As cycles repeat infinitely, the player’s goal is to push their highest profit record. The design emphasizes: • Quick, satisfying spins with readable math. • Strategic buildcraft comparable to deckbuilders. • High replayability through variance and scaling. • Visually engaging reel‑scroll transitions. • Tight feedback loops for money, percentages, and perks. The end result is a compact roguelike focused on clear math, fast iteration, and long‑run optimization.
