Ammo Inventory — Track Your Rounds Never show up to the range underprepared again. Ammo Inventory is the complete ammunition tracking app built for serious shooters who want to know exactly what they have, where it is, and when they're running low. TRACK EVERYTHING Ammo Inventory supports 150+ calibers across four categories — Rimfire, Shotgun, Handgun, and Rifle. From .22 LR to .50 BMG, 9mm to .458 SOCOM, if you shoot it, we track it. Adding rounds takes seconds. Log what you've used just as fast. NEVER GET CAUGHT SHORT Set a custom low-stock alert threshold for every single caliber in your inventory. Running 500 rounds of 9mm is normal. Running 500 rounds of .50 BMG is a fortune. Set your thresholds to match reality and let the app warn you before you're scrambling to restock. KNOW YOUR NUMBERS The Statistics dashboard gives you a complete picture of your entire arsenal at a glance. Total round count, breakdown by category, animated progress bars, and a dedicated low-stock alert section so you always know where you stand. BUILT FOR THE RANGE The tactical dark interface was designed for clarity in any lighting condition — whether you're in your gun room at midnight or taking stock at the range in bright sunlight. Monospaced fonts, color-coded categories, and a clean layout make scanning your inventory fast and effortless. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: myArmsCache at 4.7 against Ammo Inventory's 4.0. myArmsCache also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 27 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 4). Ammo Inventory's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. myArmsCache sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Ammo Inventory asks for nothing beyond the download.
myArmsCache holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myArmsCache has 2.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of myArmsCache's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ammo Inventory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
myArmsCache ships an update every 3 weeks, Ammo Inventory every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
