Cortile
Read full descriptionHide full description
Cortile is the guide to your holiday home. You write it once — the door code, the Wi-Fi, how the oven works, which bin goes out when, the quick way to the sea — and your guest reads it on their own phone, in their own language, with no internet connection. THAT LAST PART IS THE WHOLE POINT Every other guidebook is a web page, and a web page has to load. Your guest lands after a flight, has no roaming, and is standing at a gate where they cannot look up the code. Cortile is a real app: the whole guide is on their phone before they arrive. Text, photos, routes. WHAT YOUR GUEST SEES • The home screen knows what time it is. A countdown and the address before arrival, the door code and the parking on the day, how everything works in the middle, the checkout list on the last morning. • Codes shown big, tap to copy, and the screen brightens on its own. • Wi-Fi joined with one tap, or scanned from a QR code. • Appliances as numbered steps with a photo each, and a troubleshooting list in plain words: "it beeps and won't start". • Routes with a photograph at every turn. "Left at the blue gate" — with a picture of the gate. • Your own sentence about each restaurant, with walking time and one-tap calling. • The emergency number as one enormous button, with the address to read to the operator. • Seven languages, switchable from any screen. WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU • Start from a template rather than a blank page. • Share by link, by a QR code on a card in the house, or as a file — and the file works with no internet at all. • Meter readings with a photograph of the dial and the consumption since the last one. Settles arguments about the final bill. • Documentation of the house: key box, stopcock, fuse box, photographed where they are. • Insights: what guests read, and — the useful half — what they searched for and did not find. That list is your to-do list. WHAT A GUEST NEVER RECEIVES Meter readings, policy numbers, locations you marked private and your own notes are stripped out before anything is sent. The share screen lists what is being withheld, so you can check it rather than take it on trust. THE PHONE IS THE SOURCE Everything lives on the device. Every screen works with the radio off. The server exists only to get a guide onto a phone that has never seen it — and if you do not use it, you simply share a file. Guests need no account. No adverts. No tracking. SUBSCRIPTIONS One published guide is free, for good and with nothing held back. From the second published house there is an auto-renewable subscription: Portfolio 3, 10 or 25 houses, monthly or yearly. Portfolio 3 starts with a free month. Writing, photos, the file and the printed card stay free and unlimited. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period in your Apple Account settings. If a subscription ends, your guides stay online. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://cortile-app.nl/privacy?lang=en
