Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: GG 2D Live at 100% against Pyone Play's 57%. GG 2D Live also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). Pyone Play's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (26K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Pyone Play holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pyone Play has 26K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Pyone Play's written reviews are positive against 100% of GG 2D Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
