Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Powerhitz at none against 123Play's 1. Powerhitz also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.7) and review sentiment (33% vs 15%). 123Play's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 32 months) and ratings volume (7K vs 9). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Powerhitz holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 123Play has 7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
