FitShare turns workouts in Health into a clear fitness journal and polished photo and video stories. Keep recording with Apple Watch, the Fitness app, or another compatible app. FitShare uses workouts already stored in Health, so there is nothing new to track. A clear workout journal Look back on workouts by day, with distance, duration, pace, heart rate, and active energy presented for each activity. Bring route-based workouts to life with their route traces. Make each workout a story Start with photo, keepsake, or typographic templates. Choose your metrics, colors, and canvas format. Add workout data, route traces, Activity Rings, or text stickers, then position, scale, and rotate them to make the story yours. Photos and video Photo-based templates also support a video clip up to 30 seconds, with the same workout data and stickers. Preview your video on a loop and control its sound in the editor. One canvas from preview to export Review the finished composition in the editor, then export a high-resolution image or video through the system share sheet. Save to Photos or send to compatible apps. Details that matter • Kilometers or miles, kilocalories or kilojoules • English and Simplified Chinese • Light and dark appearance • No account, feed, or likes • Health data stays on your device; optional usage analytics can be enabled or disabled in Settings FitShare Pro A one-time purchase, not a subscription. Unlock premium templates and additional creative options, including the choice to share without the FitShare mark. Previous Pro purchasers can restore their purchase. FitShare reads workouts, workout routes, and daily activity summaries from Health to build your journal and stories. Health data is never sent to the usage analytics service or used for advertising.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: WorkoutSnap at 870 against FitShare's 3. WorkoutSnap also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). FitShare's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. WorkoutSnap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FitShare sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
FitShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkoutSnap has 870 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
WorkoutSnap ships an update every 2 months, FitShare every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
