Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quick Math at free with in-app purchases against Math Learner's subscription. Quick Math also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 23%). Math Learner's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (121K vs 125). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Math Learner sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Quick Math sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Math Learner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Learner has 121K ratings behind it against 125, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Math Learner's written reviews are positive against 50% of Quick Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Math Learner ships an update every 2 weeks, Quick Math every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
