Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Math Prodigy at 100% against Math Learner's 23%. Math Prodigy also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Math Learner's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Learner sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Math Prodigy asks for nothing beyond the download.
Math Learner holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Learner has 121K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Math Learner's written reviews are positive against 100% of Math Prodigy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Math Learner ships an update every 2 weeks, Math Prodigy every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
