Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: PPKP at 23K against Circuit Hacker's 3. PPKP also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Circuit Hacker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. PPKP sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Circuit Hacker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PPKP against 5.0 for Circuit Hacker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PPKP has 23K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of PPKP's written reviews are positive against 100% of Circuit Hacker's.
PPKP ships an update monthly, Circuit Hacker weekly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
