Whether you are a student looking for a convenient app that helps you solve statics problems pertaining to beams, or an engineer/architect who wants to make structural checks on-the-go: HandyBeam provides an intuitive, easy-to-use tool that allows you to do just that! INTERACTIVE DEFLECTION, SHEAR, AND MOMENT DIAGRAMS - Get instant feedback as you add and drag the different nodes along the beam with intuitive touch gestures. INSPECT CRITICAL VALUES RESPONSIVELY - Toggle the "max values" labels to monitor the maxima as you change your beam configuration. - You can even place an "inspection tool" at a fixed location and monitor the change in value in that location. TOOLS AVAILABLE - A wide range of load and support tools are available in the app, including: • Pinned support • Fixed support • Linear spring • Rotational spring • Plastic hinge • Point load • Concentrated moment • Distributed load • Inspection/station tool

Beam Deflection is a civil engineering calculator for preliminary steel beam and 2D frame analysis. Define span length, IPE section, supports (pin, roller, fixed), and loads (point, distributed, moment). The app solves indeterminate beams using a 2-DOF finite element stiffness method and shows: • Support reactions • Shear, bending moment, and deflection diagrams • Peak values, elastic bending stress, and deflection limit checks (L/250, L/300) • Live beam schematic with section preview • 2D plane frame analysis — portal and multi-story grids with M/V/δ diagrams and deformed shape (subscription) • Learn tab — structural definitions and step-by-step calculation guides Intended use: educational and preliminary site checks. Not a substitute for licensed structural design or code-compliant calculations. Always verify results independently. Privacy: No personal data collected by the developer. Configuration is saved locally on your device. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
