My Talking Calculator vs Input Calculator

This talking calculator is aimed at children to support learning of numbers and basic operations. The app is also designed as a compensatory-speech tool for the inclusion of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Thanks to the clarity of speech, ease of use and size of the keys this application is ideal for anyone who has difficulty in recognizing numbers or figures. The calculator includes: - The four fundamental operations (sum, product, multiplication and division); - Additional functions such as square root, percentage, exponentiation and so on; - The mute function that disables the sounds; - Graphical appearance selectable between various shades. The speech is also available in both English and Italian.

Basic Calculator Mode: -Perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. -Supports decimal operations and percentage calculations. -Clear (C) button to reset the calculator. Scientific Calculator Mode: -Toggle between Basic and Scientific modes. -In Scientific Mode, additional operations are available, including: -Trigonometric functions: sin, cos, tan -Logarithmic function: log -Constants: Pi (π), Euler’s Number (e) -Exponentiation (^) and Square Root (√). -The app allows easy switching between the two modes. Full Expression Display: -As users type their expressions (e.g., 2 + 3 * 5), the full expression is displayed at the top of the screen for clarity before calculating the result. Dark Mode & Light Mode: -Users can toggle between dark mode and light mode for better accessibility and comfort based on lighting conditions. Haptic Feedback: -Subtle haptic feedback is provided when buttons are pressed, enhancing the tactile experience of using the calculator. Theme Customization: -The app offers various color themes that users can cycle through, allowing them to personalize the look and feel of the calculator. Always Visible Scroll Bar: -The app features a persistent scroll bar on the right-hand side, even when content fits within the screen, ensuring a consistent user experience. Responsive Layout: -The app dynamically adjusts its layout based on screen size, ensuring it works smoothly across different devices, including phones and tablets.
