Tomtkartan is a GPS-based measurement app for anyone who needs to measure land plots, fields, gardens, or distances. The app uses your phone's GPS to log your position as you walk along boundaries or paths. With Tomtkartan you can: Measure area by walking around a plot or piece of land. The app automatically calculates the surface in square meters or hectares, as well as the perimeter in meters. Measure distances by walking along a road, path, or fence. The app shows total distance and average speed. All measurements are displayed on an interactive map where you can choose between satellite, street view, and topographic view. You see your position in real time while measuring. The app uses advanced GPS filtering with Kalman filter and outlier detection to provide measurements as accurate as possible. Each measurement shows a confidence interval so you know how reliable the result is. Measurements are saved locally on your phone and automatically synchronized to the cloud when you have an internet connection. You can share your measurements via a web link where the recipient can view the map, edit points, and export to PDF. Perfect for landowners, farmers, gardeners, real estate agents, and anyone who needs to measure land without expensive equipment.
