iLMS Client vs MyID Identity Wallet

This iLMS™ Client App is one part of the iLMS™ by Blue Grotto Technologies, Inc. The Intelligent Lead Management System (iLMS™) is a set of software programs and web services that comprise a platform, which aids in the collection, processing, analysis and distribution of data contained on a badge using barcodes. The web services provided will allow for real-time interactive use of the data as well as processing and distribution. This iLMS™ Client App performs the function of gathering bar code data by use of the Internal Camera to scan bar codes and then send that bar code information to the iLMS web service for further processing. Accordingly, this iLMS™ Client is dependent on the entire iLMS™ infrastructure to work properly and can be used stand-alone only to collect raw data an Emergency Backup when connection to the internet is unavailable.

The MyID Identity Wallet integrates with the Intercede MyID credential management system to provision and manage digital identities in the form of Mobile Identity Documents – verifiable, privacy enhanced credentials stored in a mobile wallet. These documents are based on technical standards ISO/IEC 18013-5 (Mobile Drivers Licence) but can be used for a broader range of use cases including proof of qualifications, authority, access rights or other scenarios where information about a person needs to be presented for verification. Verification works by displaying a QR code generated by the wallet, which is then scanned by a compatible verifier app. The verifier will request attributes of the document, and once permission is granted by the document owner read the information requested and verify that the document is valid.
