Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RISS at none against ERAD Mobile's shown. RISS also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 8 months). ERAD Mobile's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ERAD Mobile against 5.0 for RISS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RISS has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
ERAD Mobile ships an update every 8 months, RISS every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
