When did you open that? CosmeFresh is a reminder app for tracking the post-opening shelf life (PAO) of your cosmetics. Just pick a category and log the opening date, and it calculates when to use up your mascara, foundation and more. You'll get an alert before each item expires, and daily reminders until you review it once it's overdue. Old, bacteria-laden cosmetics cause skin trouble. CosmeFresh ends "when did I open this?" for good. ■ Who it's for - People with more cosmetics than they can keep track of - Anyone who keeps finding expired products - Sensitive skin types who want to avoid trouble - Anyone who wants a tidy makeup pouch ■ Features - Auto-calculated expiry by category (built-in guidelines like 3 months for mascara, 6 for foundation) - Home screen sorted by what expires soonest, with a days-left meter - Three-stage notifications (ahead of time, on the day, then daily once overdue) - Add photos of your cosmetics (background removed automatically) - Group by pouch or storage location (Premium) - Surface "forgotten" cosmetics you opened but aren't using (Premium) - Log what you use with a satisfaction note (Premium) - Home screen widget showing your next expiry at a glance - A fresh beauty tip every day ■ Free vs Premium The free version lets you track up to 3 cosmetics. Premium (one-time or weekly) unlocks unlimited items, grouping by pouch, usage logs, no ads, and saved purchase links. ■ Note This app does not provide medical advice. If you notice any skin problems, stop use and consult a dermatologist. Use-by dates are general guidelines. ■ LINKS - Support / Contact: https://tsuzukit.com/contact/ - Terms of Service: https://tsuzukit.com/legal/terms-of-service.html - Privacy Policy: https://tsuzukit.com/legal/privacy-policy.html

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: LotDate at none against CosmeFresh's shown. On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LotDate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and CosmeFresh sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
