Snow Maps 3D vs DashMap

Snow Maps 3D is an ski/snowboard app offering detailed 3D maps for more than 300 ski areas worldwide. We help you navigate on the mountain – and find your family and friends fast. A list of all ski and wintersport available in Snow Map3 3D is available at https://panoramas.snowmaps3d.com. * Family friendly If you are skiing with friends and family, you can see their live location. Now you don't have to worry about getting lost and you can avoid making (and taking) phone calls on the slopes. * Use offline If you are skiing/boarding abroad, you can pin an area’s 3D map on your phone for later use without internet access. For the full experience we recommend using the app with internet connection if possible. * For (almost) all areas The time when you had to download a new app for every wintersport area is over. A new area is just one tap away. At the moment we support over 90 areas in 9 countries (see the detailed list below). We are adding new areas every few days. If you are missing your favourite area, just send us your feedback via the app and we will be happy to add it as soon as we can. * Optimized battery and storage We know that batteries drain faster when cold. We made extra effort to limit resource use of all kinds on the phone, from GPS and radio to CPU and graphics. We also optimized the storage usage of our maps dramatically. Most areas are small enough to download in a few seconds. **More features** * Efficient 3D map with slope and lift information * Tracking via GPS * Live weather information * Live information about lift and slope states (supported areas only) * Find your friends or family members on the slopes * Find nearby areas * Optimized offline usage * Points of interest to let you find toilets and refreshments fast * Live snow conditions **Features coming soon** * Ski/boarding diary You can change this list - please let us know your feedback. This app requires a paid subscription to activate some functions (for example the removal of adverts, and showing all friend positions on the 3D map, 3D panoramas for super areas). Dashmap is your cycling companion app that works as both a ride recorder and navigation tool. Just mount your phone on your bike, start navigation, and Dashmap records your ride while you cycle. Ride Recording while Navigating – Keep your phone mounted on your bike to follow directions, and Dashmap will record your ride in the background. • Manual Clip Saving – Tap once to save the last 60 seconds of your ride if something happens on the road. • Simple Bike Navigation – Use a clean, cycling-friendly map view that makes it easy to follow your route. • Local Storage – All saved clips stay on your phone so you’re in full control of your data. This is our beta launch, starting with the essentials. In upcoming updates we’ll add advanced safety features like crash detection, emergency alerts, and insurance-ready summaries.
