Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: 触电新闻 at every 3 weeks against 收音机's every 9 months. 收音机's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 50%) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 触电新闻 sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and 收音机 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
收音机 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 收音机 has 282 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of 触电新闻's written reviews are positive against 79% of 收音机's.
触电新闻 ships an update every 3 weeks, 收音机 every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
