Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: mWater Surveyor at 5.0 against Nokanda's 4.3. mWater Surveyor also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Nokanda's advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 7) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
