ObsEnMer vs NaturaList

OBSenMER vous permet de signaler vos observations d’animaux en mer. OBSenMER est une application à destination des plaisanciers, des professionnels et des associations, qui cherchent un moyen de signaler leurs observations de faune marine en mer. OBSenMER est gérée par le programme de Sciences Participatives du GECC et Cybelle Méditerranée. Cétacés, raies, requins, poissons pélagiques, tortues et méduses sont les groupes d’espèces étudiées par le programme. Des méthodes simples ne nécessitant aucune formation préalable vous sont proposées pour nous transmettre vos observations. Toutes ces informations sont ensuite centralisées et mises librement à disposition. Elles servent à mieux comprendre l’écologie des espèces étudiées et les impacts des changements globaux (ex. réchauffement climatique), et permettent d’agir pour la préservation des espèces emblématiques et protégées. Caractéristiques de l’application : -Deux niveaux d’implication pour la signalisation des observations pour les plaisanciers, -Un niveau expert réservé aux contributeurs formés, -Un guide d’identification pour reconnaître les espèces, -Un historique de vos observations, -Des quizz pour vous entraîner à les reconnaître et les connaître, -La possibilité de partager vos observations sur les réseaux sociaux. L'utilisation continue du GPS en arrière-plan peut réduire considérablement la durée de vie de la batterie.

NaturaList allows you to record your sightings easily and for free, directly in the field or later on. You can include all details you would record in your notebook – for your personal archives but also to contribute to nature conservation and science. No more time wasted copying your data once you get home, no observations forgotten, no uncertain locations: your sightings are located precisely thanks to maps and GPS. NaturaList is also easy to use with only one hand.
