About

Orbit Lite

Features

Orbit Lite does one thing well: reliable immersive monitoring. Load a master and listen — ADM and IAMF/Eclipsa Audio™, on headphones or a full rig, with video in sync and up to 24 channels of output. Built for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, Orbit Lite shares its licence, rendering engine and workflow with Orbit Lite for macOS. NEW: A/B COMPARE Add the stereo master beside your immersive mix. Orbit Lite time-matches the two, switches between them at a tap, and checks where they differ — length, sample rate, loudness and more. Trim either side with A/B Levels. MULTICHANNEL WAVEFORM See every channel of the 7.1.4 bed on its own lane, or switch to the spatial waveform — HOA and real object motion, rendered accurately. Six palettes, in light or dark. IAMF/ECLIPSA AUDIO™ Open IAMF and Eclipsa Audio files directly, with mix-presentation switching, built on the final IAMF 2.0 specification. ADM AND DOLBY ATMOS Drop in any ADM BWF, including ADM masters from popular DAWs like Logic and Pro Tools and EBU broadcast files. Switch programmes and languages, rendered by Orbit's own engine. VIDEO IN SYNC Open an IAMF or Eclipsa Audio MP4 with a video track and the picture stays locked to the spatial audio, with smooth 4K seeking. AUDIO INTERFACES Class-compliant interfaces just work. Patch the outputs in the routing matrix and monitor up to 24 channels, on 7.1.4 or custom speaker layouts (.osls). BINAURAL AND APPLE SPATIAL AUDIO Listen on headphones with Orbit's binaural renderer, with head tracking on or off — or hear it through Apple's own spatial renderer with AirPods and other compatible devices, just as Apple Music will. STEREO FOLD-DOWN Fold down to stereo for a quick check through any output. OBJECT PANNING Choose LBAP or VBAP in Settings to match how your content was authored. ON THE GO Check a master anywhere, with playback controls on the Lock Screen.
