Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Par at 100% against TeeOff's 55%. Par also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). TeeOff's advantage is ratings volume (9.9K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Par holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeeOff has 9.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of TeeOff's written reviews are positive against 100% of Par's.
TeeOff ships an update every 2 weeks, Par weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
