Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: GameScore at none against Scores's shown. GameScore also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 120) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. GameScore sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Scores sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for GameScore against 4.6 for Scores. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GameScore has 1.4K ratings behind it against 120, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of GameScore's written reviews are positive against 65% of Scores's.
GameScore ships an update every 3 weeks, Scores every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
