Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: theapplepost.com at 4.8 against IC Pro's 4.6. IC Pro's advantage is ratings volume (250 vs 47) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
theapplepost.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IC Pro has 250 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of IC Pro's written reviews are positive against 90% of theapplepost.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
IC Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, theapplepost.com monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
