Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: news at 5.0 against MyJoyOnline's 3.5. news also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MyJoyOnline's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
