The Fair Work Ombudsman's Record My Hours app makes it easy for workers to record their hours of work and pass on information about their job. The app allows users to: β’ automatically record their time at work β’ manually input shifts or fine-tune shift details if they need to, for example, if they donβt leave their workplace during their lunch break β’ export timesheets (and employment information) to store safely or share with a preferred representative if they have a workplace issue The app also includes a range of helpful features: β’ view, store and export shift history β’ back up information to personal cloud storage and easily restore it on a new device or after a factory reset β’ keep a record of work hours for multiple jobs and workplaces, all in one place β’ take and add photos of employment information that belongs to an employee, like their own payslips Privacy and Security Only you have access to your information recorded by the app. No one can access your information unless you choose to share it. Privacy and confidentiality rules apply in the workplace. Don't take photos of other people or business information. Important information for users: * Users with an app version installed prior to May 2024 must export all their app data if they wish to keep it before upgrading to the latest version, as their data will not migrate across to the new version of the app. * Before the update, make sure to save your work record outside the app so youβve got a backup you can refer to later. * Wi-Fi must be turned on in device settings for automatic shift recording to work * Automatic shift recording won't work for all job types, such as people working in areas with no mobile or Wi-Fi coverage or people who frequently travel for work. It also wonβt t work reliably in some circumstances, including when certain device settings are not enabled by the user. Manual recording has been incorporated to cater for this. Terms and Conditions By installing the app on your device, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions governing its use. You can view these terms and conditions at fairwork.gov.au/apptermsandconditions Support and Feedback If you have any questions or feedback on the app, please email us at app@fwo.gov.au
WhoMail

Most email apps now quietly send your mail to a cloud AI β for summaries, smart replies, "priority" ranking. WhoMail doesn't. Your email never leaves your device for an AI service. Ever. WhoMail is a fast, genuinely private email app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that brings Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo and any IMAP account into one unified inbox. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT β’ No cloud AI. Ever. Your messages aren't uploaded, summarised, scanned, or used to train anything. Anything that feels smart happens on your device. β’ Know your people. WhoMail builds a private picture of who you actually email β your reply times, how often you talk, your busiest hours, and a profile for each contact assembled from their own email signatures. No other inbox shows you this. β’ Push that stays blind. New Outlook mail arrives the second it's sent, even with the app closed β but our relay only ever learns "this mailbox got something." The sender and subject are fetched on your phone, by your phone. β’ One unified inbox across every account, or jump to any single mailbox in a tap. β’ Native and fast β opens, syncs and searches instantly, with a calendar built in. PRIVACY ISN'T A FEATURE HERE β IT'S THE DESIGN β’ No AI servers. No mail content on our servers. No tracking, no ads, no profile of you sold to anyone. β’ You sign in straight with your provider; your tokens stay in the device keychain. β’ Turn our push service off tomorrow and you lose nothing but a little speed. Supports Outlook / Microsoft 365, iCloud, Fastmail, Yahoo and standard IMAP. Built by Calligo IT. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Record My Hours at none against WhoMail's 2. Record My Hours also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). WhoMail's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
