Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PEERS® at none against Cuespeak's 7. PEERS® also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Cuespeak's advantage is review sentiment (84% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cuespeak sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. PEERS® asks for nothing beyond the download.
PEERS® holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 87 and 57 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Cuespeak's written reviews are positive against 50% of PEERS®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cuespeak ships an update every 3 weeks, PEERS® every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
