Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: CPR Now App at 83% against CPR Helper's 10%. CPR Now App also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). CPR Helper's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CPR Helper holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CPR Now App has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of CPR Helper's written reviews are positive against 83% of CPR Now App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
CPR Helper ships an update every 5 months, CPR Now App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 2, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
