Fluent Numerals vs English Numbers Practice

Fluent Numerals is designed to help you become a fluent listener AND speaker of numerals in a foreign language. Because knowing the names of numbers is invaluable in any language, Fluent Numerals is ideal for anyone interested in learning another language. Explore: The Explore tab is a playground for language enthusiasts. Fluent Numerals supports every language/region that has both speech synthesis and speech recognition. No need to get separate apps for different languages: with Fluent Numerals you can hear "1-2-3" in Swedish and then at the flip of a switch hear "123" in Japanese. And to find out if you can say "9" in German, just make another easy language change, hold down the record button, and speak into the mic. Challenges: Put your skills to the test with the challenges Fluent Numerals offers for both listening and speaking. In listening challenges, a speech synthesizer says a number or a series of digits and your goal is to enter the correct numbers using the keypad. In speaking challenges, your goal is to pronounce the number you see on the screen (either as the entire number or separate digits) well enough so that a speech recognizer for the language you selected will understand you. Just hold down the record button and speak into the mic. And unlike traditional "listen and repeat" lessons, Fluent Numerals gives you immediate feedback on your performance. Fluent Numerals is free to try and is initially limited to numbers of up to 3 digits using digits 1-5. If you find that Fluent Numerals helps you become more fluent with numerals, you can unlock the full version with an in-app purchase to access the entire range of numbers the app offers.

Even if you don't need to learn a foreign language, there are probably some situations where you need to listen to numbers in English. The familiar number 1,2,3,4 may seem easy when you write it down, but it's surprisingly difficult when you listen to it. Even if you have words like one, two, three in your head, they are incorporated into unfamiliar words in the actual situation, so even if you know them in your head, they don't register easily in your ears. In this app, you will practice listening to English numbers read out by an artificial voice and inputting them to get used to listening. I also wanted to practice using this app, so I placed something like a mascot with a round face on the screen. This round face is not advanced AI or other advanced technology, but is simply a circle with eyes and a mouth drawn inside it, but it creates a much more relaxed atmosphere than practicing while looking at a blank screen. Also, the purpose is not to give correct or incorrect answers like when studying for a exam, but to simply practice over and over again and get used to listening, so even when you make a mistake, the round face mascot encourage you by saying things like “Don't worry!”. You start with a single digit number, but you can freely press "↑" and "↓" to increase or decrease the number of digits to adjust the difficulty level. You can practice listening to English numbers from 1 to 9 digits. I can listen to around 3 digits without making mistakes, but when it comes to 4 digits, I have to listen to it over and over again to be able to write it down correctly. I think you can also use it as a brain training exercise.
