Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Cosmopedia at 5.0 against Galaxy Map's 4.6. Cosmopedia also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Galaxy Map's advantage is ratings volume (609 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
