Is someone watching? A hidden camera in a rental or a hotel room is small, cheap, and easy to miss. Glint gives you four ways to look β and tells you plainly what each one can and can't see. FREE, AND COMPLETE The network scan is free forever, and the results are never blurred or held back. Glint lists every device sharing your Wi-Fi and says in plain words what each one probably is: a router, a printer, an Apple TV β or something that matches a known camera manufacturer. Most apps in this category show you a scary number and charge you to see what's behind it. We don't. The live magnetic sweep is free too. WHAT GLINT PRO ADDS β’ Infrared detector β spots the IR LEDs a night-vision camera gives off in a dark room β’ Lens glint finder β catches the reflection a lens throws back at your torch β’ Guided room sweep β ten places, in the order cameras are actually found: smoke detectors, alarm clocks, USB chargers, air vents, the two-way mirror test β’ Saved reports β a record of every room you've checked NO LOCATION. NO SERVER. Glint never asks for your location β it doesn't need it. Everything runs on your iPhone: the camera feed is analysed frame by frame in memory and never recorded, the network scan never leaves your local network, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. There is no server to leak. HONEST ABOUT LIMITS No app can prove a room is clean, and any app that says otherwise is selling you something. A network scan can't see a camera recording to an SD card. Infrared works in the dark, not in daylight. Glint tells you this at the end of every sweep, because a false sense of safety is worse than none. Glint Pro is a one-time purchase β pay once and keep every tool, on every device you sign in with. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LBee at none against Glint's 2. LBee also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Glint's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
