#The Story Behind Gamza Diary In early 2022, the developer of Gamza Diary — a true ENFP — experienced deep depression for the very first time. It crept in like getting soaked in a drizzle, and there was no knowing how to get through it. Searching YouTube for anything related to depression, many psychiatrists kept saying the same thing: practicing small acts of gratitude can make a real difference. So the developer started keeping a gratitude journal, and eventually built Gamza Diary — a place to make that practice a little more convenient and a lot more fun. Whether it was the journaling or not, the depression was overcome, and life has felt steadily happy ever since. We hope Gamza Diary helps you find your own small moments of happiness, every single day. #Monthly Calendar Every time you record three things you're grateful for, a Gamza fills in on your monthly calendar. Watching your calendar fill up with Gamzas is the little push that keeps you coming back every day. #Recording Your Gratitude Tap the pencil icon to open a space where you can write down three things you're grateful for today. Look back on your day and capture what made you feel thankful. If there's more you'd like to add, a fourth entry field is there for you. #Timeline View Use the monthly filter in the Timeline View to browse all your Gamza Diary entries at a glance. Look back at what you've written and rediscover what brought you gratitude. We hope those small moments of thankfulness add up to something truly happy. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: DAILY NOTE at 310 against Gamza Diary's 4. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. DAILY NOTE sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gamza Diary sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for DAILY NOTE against 4.5 for Gamza Diary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAILY NOTE has 310 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of DAILY NOTE's written reviews are positive against 90% of Gamza Diary's.
DAILY NOTE ships an update every 3 weeks, Gamza Diary every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
