Planet Gravity holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Planet Gravity has 54 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Epoch Core's written reviews are positive against 44% of Planet Gravity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Epoch Core ships an update every 18 months, Planet Gravity every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
