Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Slaughter at none against ScourgeBringer's shown. Slaughter also leads on price ($0.39 vs $5.99) and review sentiment (86% vs 70%). ScourgeBringer's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (485 vs 47). On update cadence, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Slaughter costs $0.39 and ScourgeBringer $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ScourgeBringer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScourgeBringer has 485 ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Slaughter's written reviews are positive against 70% of ScourgeBringer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
