The Paediatric Observation Priority Score (POPS) is a tool to aid decision making in urgent and emergency care. It combines objective, subjective and observational features to create a score 0-16 that can be ascribed to children and young people presenting to Emergency Departments, Urgent Care Centres and Primary Care Clinics (Family Doctor). It is undergoing continuous validation (more information available at http://bit.ly/popstool) and we welcome feedback on its use, especially in environments outside the Emergency Department.

ParaPass provides a wealth of quick, straightforward resources to support your learning and CPD on the move. The app is free to download, but you will need to register with us to log in. Once you have logged in, you will need a subscription to access the content. Subscriptions are available for ยฃ3.99 per month or ยฃ39.99 per year. All JRCALC CPD and Standby CPD customers will be given access to ParaPass as part of your existing subscription.
