Built for EMS, by EMS — ER NAV gives you the fastest way to the ambulance bay. ER NAV was inspired by navigation units on aircraft. These systems allow pilots to instantly go direct to an exact destination. ER NAV brings this tech into EMS by allowing EMT's and Medics to quickly find the nearest hospital and route direct to the ambulance bay using your preferred navigation app. Ambulance Bay Navigation Go directly to the correct EMS entrance, not the hospital’s main lobby. No guessing service roads or circling parking lots in the dark. Hospital Information See trauma, stroke, burn, pediatric, and specialty designations instantly — before committing to a route. No digging through outdated documents or memory. Use Your Preferred Apps Tap once to open your route in Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. ER NAV works with the navigation app you're already used to. Ambulance Bay Images See user-submitted images of the ambulance bay so you know what you're looking for. Filter by Specialty Filter nearest hospitals by specialty including Trauma, Stroke, Burn, and Pediatric. Trauma and Stroke hospitals will also show their correct designations such as Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, etc. NJ EMS Protocols Access the full NJ EMS Clinical Practice Protocols & Guidelines directly in the app. Smart search with medical synonym support lets you find the right protocol in seconds, even mid-call. Med Reference Full in-app drug reference with indications, contraindications, and dosing — built for EMS. Filter by EMS medications or patient medications, and search by name, class, or brand name. Favorite Hospitals Favorite hospitals that you visit often for easy routing in the future. Call the ER Call the ER with one click on the home page. Hospital Notes Add hospital notes such as access tips, door codes, contact numbers — all stored securely only on your device. Live Map View View a live map of all hospitals and filter by specialty. Smart Search Search any hospital in your state by name, address, or specialty. O2 Tank Duration Calculator Calculate how long your O2 tank will last before it drops below 500 PSI or empty. Start a countdown that will alert you when the tank is running low. (Supports tank sizes C, D, E, F, M, G, H, J, K) Traffic Flow See real-time traffic conditions on routes to every nearby hospital, color-coded by severity. A scrolling alert ticker highlights active delays so you can pick the fastest route before you move. Route Traffic on Map View traffic-colored routes to all nearby hospitals directly on the map — green, yellow, and red overlays show you exactly where the slowdowns are before you commit to a route. Call Log & Auto-Mileage Log your calls with automatic GPS-based mileage tracking. Tap Departed Location and Arrived at Destination — ER NAV calculates the miles for you. Includes decimal mileage display and call timestamps. Community Notes View and submit community-sourced notes for hospitals — access tips, alerts, and more. Submitted notes are reviewed before publishing to keep information accurate and trustworthy. Suggest a Hospital Don't see a hospital in your area? Suggest it directly from the app. New submissions are reviewed and added weekly. Report an Issue Found incorrect hospital information? Report it in-app with pre-filled fields for easy submission. Our team verifies and corrects flagged entries. EMS Room Ratings Rate the EMS room at any hospital and see ratings from other providers.
