De app E-nummers geeft informatie over gezondheidsrisico’s van E-nummers in voedsel op basis van onafhankelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Omdat E-nummers door de Europese Unie goedgekeurd zijn, zijn zo ook veilig… toch? Onafhankelijk wetenschappelijk onderzoek toont iets anders aan: de veiligheid van sommige E-nummers is twijfelachtig en in sommige gevallen zijn de risico’s zelfs erg groot. De bedoeling van levensmiddelen is dat ze je leven geven en niet energie afnemen. De verwerking van de chemische stoffen die schuilgaan achter E-nummers kost je lichaam soms mee energie dan dat er binnenkomt. In sommige gevallen zijn de risico’s dermate groot dat je er ernstige ziektes aan over kunt houden, bijvoorbeeld darmkanker.
