Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: UGASafe at 75% against Coursicle's 38%. UGASafe also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Coursicle's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Coursicle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. UGASafe asks for nothing beyond the download.
Coursicle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coursicle has 780 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Coursicle's written reviews are positive against 75% of UGASafe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Coursicle ships an update every 9 days, UGASafe every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
