TimerSwipe vs Instant Timer

TimerSwipe is a “no-look” countdown timer: swipe anywhere on the screen to start the timer and receive audio or vibration feedback when the timer begins and ends. It's perfect for any time when you need to be able to start a short countdown timer without looking at your iPhone's screen. I use it to time awkward stretches during physical therapy and workouts. Features: * Create and save timers of your preferred duration * Favorite a timer with a heart and TimerSwipe will open directly to that timer * Full VoiceOver support * That‘s it! TimerSwipe is a no-frills app that gets out of your way so you can start counting down

START TIMERS INSTANTLY With Instant Timer, you can start timers quicker than with other apps. HOW IT WORKS Other timer apps usually require you to first set a duration before the timer can start. With Instant Timer, it's the other way around: First, you start a new timer. Then, while this timer is already running, you set its duration. This is why timers can be started so quickly with Instant Timer. LESS STRESS With Instant Timer, you first start a timer and then set the duration afterward. That way you can take the stress out of the moment and set the duration when it suits you best. GREAT FOR COOKING Imagine you are cooking. The water boils, but you also must hurry to finish chopping the vegetables. You quickly put the ingredients into the water - but for how long again? Take the heat out of the moment: Start a timer for the water now, finish chopping the vegetables, and then you have all the time in the world to dig out the recipe and set the water timer's duration accordingly.
